Study Sedimentation Rate of PLTU Pulang Pisau Due to Jetty Modification in Efforts to Improve Production Capacity

Abstract Pulang Pisau Steam Power Plant (PLTU) is one of the plants that used to fulfill electricity needs people in Central Kalimantan Province. By using coal as a source steam production, PLTU has capacity up 2 × 60 MW. Such large population growth cannot be avoided and it therefore denied deemed require additional production capacity. One alternative can given increase amount fuel capacity, namely accommodated. changing design existing jetty, expected ships with larger capacities lean on power plant pond. In this study, an analysis sediment volume rate condition jetty two jetties river basin area, where modeling done MIKE21. The results show sedimentation was line for 12 months at 9550.017 m3, while 1 produced respectively were 917.444 m3 dan 8616.040 m3. first more efficient dealing terms increasing considered able maintain determined vessel draft not cause excessive impacts area.
